Koala

I think Zion looks like a little koala on Eden here. This is one of both of their favorite spots! The other pic is when Zion wore Eden and Masa out:-)

Time to keep up!

All within a matter of days, Zion started sitting up on his own (with no support) and propping himself on his hands and knees and rocking back and forth. I better get ready for him to start crawling soon!! I can't believe it! He's such a happy boy and is laughing more and more all the time, it's great! He loves being active, so once he can actually move around on his own, I think I'll get plenty of exercise! I still love being a mom, it's so hard to imagine that I didn't even know this little man a year ago.

Bathtime!

Ever since he was born, Zion hasn't liked to laydown in his little infant tub. But now he can sit up on his own so we tried him just sitting in the tub, and he actually enjoyed himself for a little bit!! I can't believe my little boy is getting so big already, time's going too fast already, we're enjoying everyday with him though! He liked splashing around a little bit in the water, he's getting more playful everyday!

Jaden turns 1!!

Our neice Jaden turned 1 on August 3rd!! For those of you who don't know, she was born about 2 months premature. She was in the hospital for a long time, and on oxygen and medications. But she is doing great!! She's getting so big and developing so well! She is truly a miracle baby and a testimony to what an amazing God we have. Everytime we see them, her and Zion are more and more interested in each other, I'm sure they'll have tons of fun playing together soon!

Changing Boy

Zion is getting so big!! It's so amazing how fast he's growing and all the new things he's learning! He's rolling over, sitting unsupported (for brief periods right now) and smiling and laughing all the time! He's such a happy fun boy!! We're very blessed to be his parents! He's also teething right now, no actual teeth yet, but he'll put everything he touches in his mouth so we have to be careful!:-) He's quite taken with Masa now! He'll watch Masa and try to reach out and touch him, he doesn't quite get the being gentle thing yet (Zion that is, Masa is very gentle with Z), but Masa does great and just takes whatever he gets:-) It's so amazing to see the way babies develop, like just this past week we've noticed that he can hear sounds behind him and he'll turn to see where it's coming from and what it is!! God is truly amazing, we're in awe everyday and His wonderful creation!

ExerSaucer

This is Zion's favorite new toy. He's finally big and sturdy enough to sit in his exersaucer. He has so much fun banging on stuff and trying to get everything in his mouth:-)

COLORADO!!!

We went to Colorado!! It was so nice to get away and relax for a couple weeks! The weather was great...it was hot a few days, but compared to Miami weather it was awesome!!! No humidity!! (I'm not a fan of the humid weather in Miami if you can't tell) :-) We went to a cabin with my parents and my brother and his family, wife Kelli, dauthers, Emma (5), Megan (2 1/2) and Tessa (8mo.). It was great to spend time with all of them to catch up, be entertained by the kids and for Zion to meet his cousins!!

We even made a little camp fire, roasted marshmallows and ate s'mores! It was great to just relax and enjoy the outdoors.

Mountains

The mountains were beautiful! We had fun enjoying the beautiful scenery! Iesha even did a little bit of rock climbing for the first time!

Generations

This is the crib that I slept in when I was a baby and now my baby is lying in it! Time flies! It's still hard to believe that I actually have a baby of my own sometimes, but I LOVE being a mom, he's the greatest!!
