Pumpkin Carving

Zion's first halloween is soon approaching!! We carved pumpkins today...I'm sure he didn't really understand what was going on, but we had fun pretending he was participating, and he loved playing with the gooey inner part of the pumpkins. This was actually the first time that both Iesha and Eden have ever carved pumpkins too (I know....so sad) but it was an exciting day for them too!! They had fun!

Colorado

We went to CO during the beginning of Oct for my cousins wedding. It was so great to be there!! The weather was perfect, the leaves were changing...it was just all around a great time to be there. We couldn't stay very long, so that was sad of course, but we still got to see some beautiful sights and spend time with family! Zion was all smiles and loved meeting all the new people! He adjusted pretty well to the time change too, he's a pretty laid back baby so far, just goes with the flow......wonder where he gets that from!? ;)

Crawling

Zion is Crawling!!!

Masa

Now that Zion is crawling, he loves to crawl to Masa and try to pet him and lean on him. Masa just sits there and enjoys the attention. Zion tries to eat Masa's ears sometimes though, so we have to watch out for that=)

Driving Already?

I think he likes the real car better than his little play car!

Hat

Everyone says that Zion looks just like Eden (I think he has a little bit of me in there somewhere too)....but he's trying to look like Daddy here!

Playtime

Zion is all over the place now!! He has a little play table that he loves to pull himself up next to. He tries to hold on and reach for other toys are furniture to hold on to. Every once in a while he'll get really brave and let go for a couple seconds. There's even been a few times when he's stood on his own for about 5 seconds....which is a long time for such wobbly legs! Seems like he wants to walk...he's happiest when he's standing!

Toes

I always saw pictures of babies grabbing their feet and playing with their toes, so ever since Zion was born I kept wondering when he would find his. I thought something was wrong after a couple months when he wouldn't grab his feet yet:-) I guess I don't have to worry about that anymore!!!!

He's grown so much!

I never realize how much Zion has grown until I look at pictures from when he was first born. I can't believe how big he is already!
